THE MIGHTY SINCLAIRS

Hi from Niamh and Aoife in Conover, North Carolina

We're four and one now and having fun making snowmen.

HOLLYWOOD HERE WE COME!

THE HOME FRONT

Watch out for Gavin's movie debut in "The Patriot" from Columbia Pictures, to be released in the US in June.
The movie stars Mel Gibson as a simple farmer roused to revolting acts by British imperialist barbarism and Gavin Sinclair as Valet Number 2. Observe closely the scene where Lord Cornwallis (Tom Wilkinson) is being shaved. That elegant hand wielding the razor may be familiar to you. And pay close attention any time a door is opened. Chances are that's yours truly pushing the door open and pulling it closed with convincingly brisk efficiency. (They told me the role would open a lot of doors - I misunderstood).
Especially look out for the scene where Lord Cornwallis is having dinner and hatching nefarious plots with the arch-baddy Tavington (Jason Isaacs). Yes, that distinguished redcoated and bewigged figure behind the table, holding the napkin and trying not to laugh is none other than big G. No it really is me, honest, even though in that wig I look like a cross between George Washington and my Granny.
Surprisingly, despite this success and the ensuing critical acclaim, I do have some space left in my filming schedule for the next twenty years or so. Address any enquiries to my agent, Niamh Sinclair.

All are well here in North Carolina despite ice storms, hurricanes and Y2K. Elayne has her hands full with the bundles of joy. Gavin has his hands full with business. If you're really pushed for something to do, you can check out the web site of his company Stealth Laboratories by clicking here.
Recent excitements have included a trip by Gavin to Central America and Granny's visit at Christmas. The squirrel in the attic has been persuaded to leave. The weather is beautiful when it's not actually snowing. The deer have been spotted a couple of times in the garden.
